Some more photos from May Morning – thanks to Nerys.
A gloomy evening – light wise that ended at 2100 outside with a fierce hail storm – but not after some splendid dancing and entertainment. Great guests Bodicote – great fun – and our own guests, Jenny and Barney from Aus! Note for knicker police – red shoes – no ……….?
Was Tom moving that fast or was it shutter speed on a gloomy evening?
Jan 9th a wet and windy start to the year at Hogacre in Oxford – in black trousers and wellies we helped bless the trees to help ensure a good harvest
Mind you the draw of soup and mulled cider may have accounted for our lack of enthusiasm re going out side to dance!
Barbara was keen to tell Lesley how big the one that got way was!!
After a week of rain, Saturday was a mercifully dry, and we had a fine old time dancing at various locations in and around Wantage for the White Horse Folk Festival.
The day started at the famous Uffington White Horse. Dancing just above the horse’s head, we had a brilliant view over the hills.
Our hosts Icknield Way led the way.
We did three dances at the Horse.
And had time to enjoy the view.
Other local groups Cornucopia Clog and Rose Hips bellydance danced in the sunshine too.
After that, we visited locations in Wantage and Grove, dancing 14 different dances in all. A busy day.
